Hi! I’m Brooke.

I’m a writer and artist who loves language, particularly within visual mediums like user interfaces or embroidery patterns.

By day, I’m a Staff Content Designer at Intuit Mailchimp, where I help product teams build useful, usable experiences. In previous lives, I’ve worked in non-profit communications, alt-weekly design, and small-town newspaper reporting.

I’ve also led collaborative creative projects like the Eudora Welty Portrait Reader and the Flannery O’Connor Portrait Zine. My byline has appeared in the Billfold, Washington City Paper, Atlanta Magazine, Everyday Genius, and Write Club Atlanta.
